Concentration: Healthcare

I have a wide body of work covering the healthcare industry in my 16 years as a creative. I spent the first part of my career working with multiple health plans as their creative lead on major production projects as well as creative vision and direction for client-facing campaigns. I’ll highlight a few and talk about them quickly. If you’d like specific details on any specific project or more focused work, let me know. For BMC HealthNet Plan, I developed many campaigns for them including the “Get More” Campaign where we leaned into the extra benefits that came with their care plans including Car Seats and Helmets for Kids, and Free toothbrushes and Weight Watchers plans for adults.

In 2012 we launched an entirely new health plan in New Hampshire called WellSense and branded that in only a few short weeks. This came with print, digital, and OOH ads including a few :30 spots.

In 2013 we launched a 3rd campaign called “Stronger Together” with the focus being on the patients and caregivers rather than the plan benefits. It focused on them working through their struggles in getting healthy, being a caregiver for an aging parent or relative, and being a strong mother for a young child with health conditions. The CTA was focused on the health plan being with them every step of the way. Fun fact, the entire plan for MA and NH is now named WellSense, and the Stronger Together campaign language is still in use to this day.

Other clients i’ve worked with have included the Institute for Family Health and Community Healthcare Network based in NYC, State of Delaware Health and Human Services, Nemours Hospital, and Multiple COVID-19/Pandemic responses at the community and state level from 2020-2022. These included the Newport Care Alliance organized by the City of Newport, RI, Washington County RI COVID Response, and the State of Massachusetts’ COVID Response team.

Video Production

Focus Areas: Creative Direction, Storyboarding, Prop Design, Staging, Final Cut. Illustration, Animation, and Video Editing were completed by talented professionals inside and outside the organization. I focused purely on concept from start to finish making sure the projects were the best they could be at the time. (Produced for and with Worldways Social Marketing)

Featuring Patriots football star Jerod Mayo, this spot was made to encourage young people to pay attention to their health and break the stigma of avoiding the doctor when you're healthy.
